Wonderful Duty God Has Given to Men, So God design man in his own image, in the image of God he designs him; male and female he created them (Gen. 1:27).

A lot of men around the world faithfully endeavour to honour God in all their vocations in life. Here are some wonderful duties God has given to men: Some Facts About Your Husband You Should Know

We have to Know God’s Word in Our Mind

First and foremost, we have to know and catch on with God’s word in our minds. This takes time and study. There are no sidesteps. Unless we intelligently catch on to what the Bible is saying, there is not any way we will understand who God is, or what He wants from us. When asked about the greatest commandment in the Law, Jesus said: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37)It is crucial that we obey this command. We must desire God with our minds.

To Work

The LORD God took the man and place him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. (Gen. 2:15)

We Must Put the Word of God in Our Hearts

It is not enough to have an intellectual catch on the Bible. There are a lot of individuals who have a fantastic amount of knowledge of the things of Scripture, yet none of it has permeated into their hearts. It is just for an academic exercise. The Word of God must enter our hearts. David wrote: I have hidden your word via my heart that I might not disobey your commandment. (Psalm 119:11)The factuality of the Word of God must become part of our being.

The Contrast Between Obedience vs Disobedience

We Should Demonstrate God’s Word in Our Lives

The Bible calls us to be submissive to the authority of God’s Word. Though, obedience is based upon sincere freedom that belongs to God’s children. The psalmist wrote: May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be delectable in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my deliverer. (Psalm 19:14)We need to do those things that are pleasing to the Lord.

To Be Courageous

“Have I not commanded you? Be zealous and courageous. Do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is always with you wherever you go.” (Josh. 1:9)

We Must Announce God’s Word to Others

Finally, the Word of God must be announced to others. It is not enough that we keep it to ourselves. Jesus said: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have ordered you. And certainly, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)

To Be a Husband

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Gen. 2:24)

To Be the Head of His Wife

For the husband is the head of the wife even as Our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Forthwith as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. (Eph. 5:23-24)

To Serve Sacrificially

Husbands, adore your wives, as Christ adored the church and gave himself up for her. (Eph. 5:25) It is significant that believers take each of these few steps seriously. In doing that, we can honour the Lord in the manner He so richly deserves.
